About NYSE Tokenized Venue
The New York Stock Exchange is developing a dedicated venue for trading and settling tokenized stocks around the clock, combining NYSE's Pillar matching engine with blockchain infrastructure for natively digital securities. Filed with the SEC in September 2024, the platform plans to support dollar-denominated orders, stablecoin-based funding, and multi-blockchain settlement with instant T+0 finality. The DTC received SEC approval in December 2024 to support tokenized securities clearance, with planned launch in Q3 2026.
